Authors Note: Originally, Kurt fell in love with Anna and set her up in her apartment the first week after she arrived at the Manor. Kurt then decided that she needed a car, and he and Wilhelm took her car shopping. This is also not edited as the published version.
After breakfast, we took the limo to the Mercedes-Benz dealer near the Bay Bridge. I pushed the memories of the night my parents died away as we pulled up next to the glass-fronted building.
A man with dark, slicked-back hair walked towards us with a smile as he we entered the building. I could see him sizing us up. First Wilhelm, then Kurt, then me. He was impressed with Wilhelm and Kurt, not so much with me, though I could tell he was attracted to me in a raw animalistic manner.
“Welcome to Mercedes-Benz of San Francisco. How can I help you today, Mr…?” he reached out his hand to Wilhelm.
Wilhelm smiled and shook his hand. “Duke, actually. Duke Wilhelm von Hesse.”
“It is a pleasure to meet you, Duke von Hesse. My name is Joe.” He had a big smile. Too big. I hoped Wilhelm was smart enough to recognize the insincerity of this man. “What can I help you with today?”
“This is my son, Kurt and his…girlfriend, Anna. She needs a vehicle.”
The flash of surprise in his eyes disappeared as quickly as it appeared. I could imagine how unsophisticated I looked between the two tall, debonair Germans. They were both impeccably dressed. Wilhelm in charcoal dress pants and white shirt unbuttoned at the collar. Kurt was wearing a navy blue sweater and stylishly faded jeans. I was in the clothes Maggie had given me at the Manor.
Joe nodded and offered us something to drink while we looked around. Both Wilhelm and Kurt accepted. I declined. I was feeling more and more uncomfortable. This was so out of my realm of knowledge. I was afraid to do something wrong. Kurt held my hand and I stood half behind him.
“Are you looking for an SUV? Or perhaps a little coupe?” Joe asked me.
My eyes widened and I looked at Kurt. I had no idea what he was asking me. He kissed my head. “It’s ok, Anna,” he whispered. “We’ll take care of you.” He looked at Joe. “Something easy to get around town in. Not too big, I think.” Kurt looked back at me. “Do you want a car or an SUV?”
“Whatever you think would be best, Kurt,” I said quietly.
He grinned at me. “How about a little roadster?” he glanced at Joe. “Do you have any SLSs?”
Joe once again looked surprised. “Of course, right over here.” He led us over to a silver sports car.
“Isn’t this what Alex has?” I asked.
Kurt nodded. “It’s the best. He has good taste.” He chuckled.
“It’s big,” I said.
“It is a little masculine,” Wilhelm agreed. “What about the SLK? It’s smaller.”
Joe nodded and led us to a red sports car that had a similar feel as Alex’s, but was smaller. I looked at it. It was nice. It was even a convertible.
I looked at Wilhelm. “Not red,” I whispered, hoping he’d understand.
Wilhelm’s eyes widened for a second, then he smiled at me tenderly. “Of course, Anna. I hadn’t thought about that.” He turned to Joe. “Nothing red. And I’d like her to be able to take it today.”
Joe nodded and we wandered around the showroom. I noticed a little white convertible in the corner. “What about that one?”
Wilhelm and Kurt both commented appreciatively on it.
Joe didn’t look as happy about it, but politely listed out its features, which were quite a few. The sticker on the window indicated a price of $79,150.
“Do you like it?” Kurt asked.
I stared at the price. “Kurt…that’s…a lot of money.”
“Mercedes are worth every penny, Anna. They’re safe and reliable. They’re German.” He chuckled.
I giggled. “But…”
“Anna, I forbid you from worrying about the price. Remember what I showed you yesterday? The magazine?”
I looked at him hesitantly and nodded.
“Then don’t worry about it.” He took my hand and kissed it. “I told you I wanted to spoil you.”
I pressed my lips together and nodded, then looked at the ground. “I’m sorry,” I whispered. I was being ungrateful.
He squeezed hugged me to him and kissed my head.
“Would you like to take it for a test drive?” Joe asked.
“Ja, that would be good.” Kurt said and looked at me. “Once you drive it, you won’t ever settle for anything less.”
Wilhelm chuckled. “Like you would know.”
“I’ll wait here,” Wilhelm volunteered. “I think one, but not both of us, could fit in the back.”
Joe got the keys and drove it out of the showroom. He pulled to the side of the driveway and then got out to let me sit in the driver’s seat.
I looked nervously at Kurt, who smiled encouragingly as he settled into the back seat. “Anna, don’t worry about anything. Just enjoy yourself.”
I got in hesitantly and buckled my seatbelt, adjusting the mirrors. “Where do I go?” I asked.
“If you turn left here, it will take you onto the bridge, which is a nice way to see how it handles.”
I felt the blood drain out of my face at his suggestion. “I don’t like bridges,” I said softly. My parents had died on that bridge.
Joe gave me a strange look. “Ok, then turn right and just stay on the freeway.”
I turned out of the driveway and went into the direction he suggested. As I drove, I became more comfortable and even started to have a little fun.
“You’re smiling, Anna. I think this may be the car. Unless you want to try an SLK?” Kurt asked from the backseat.
“I can if you’d like,” I said, looking at him in the rear view mirror.
“You might enjoy it,” he smiled.
I nodded. “Ok.” I drove back to the dealership following Joe’s directions and parked. He went to get the SLK.
“It’s only a two-seater, Anna. Will you be alright going out with him alone?” Kurt asked.
I looked at the little blue car coming out of the showroom. “I don’t see why not.”
“I don’t want you to be uncomfortable.”
I smiled at him. “I’ll be ok.”
As the car came nearer, I realized how cute it was…if a car can be cute. Joe opened the door for me and I got in. I practically melted into the seat. This car was…different. The other was nice…this was beautiful. The lines, the feel. It was a hardtop but Joe said the roof retracted.
I put the car in gear and accidently spun the wheels as I hit the gas leaving the parking lot. I looked at Joe apologetically.
He gave me a sleazy smile. “You’re not really his girlfriend, are you?”
“Why would you say that?” I asked in a shaky voice.
“He has a wedding ring on his right hand, which is where Germans wear theirs. Besides, you are so out of his league it’s not even funny. You fucking his dad too?”
I swallowed and concentrated on driving, blinking back tears that threatened to fall. Am I that obvious?
He laughed. “You must be a good fuck for him to be willing to buy you an eight-five thousand dollar car.”
He put his hand on my thigh and slid up slowly.
“Please don’t,” I said softly.
“Pull over,” he barked.
I bit my lip and did as he said. I wanted to say no, but Uncle Jack warned me never to say no to a man. Did he know Uncle Jack? Uncle Jack knew lots of people and if I ever said no to one of his friends he’d beat me.
I’d pulled over next to an empty building. Joe rubbed his cock over his pants. “Suck my cock and I’ll give them a good deal on the car. And if he dumps you, I’ll make sure you get a decent amount of cash for the thing if you need the money and sell it.” He grabbed hold of my hair and pushed my head into his lap. He unzipped his pants and pulled his cock out, then pushed my head onto his cock, forcing it down my throat. He pushed and pulled my head. I sucked as best as I could and he groaned appreciatively. “Fuck, you may actually be worth this car,” he mumbled as I swallowed him down.” He fucked my mouth hard and shoved himself down my throat as he came. His hot cum shot down my throat.
I blinked back tears as he pulled me off himself. He looked at me and laughed. “You might want to brush your hair.”
I wiped my mouth and smoothed my hair as best I could as he zipped up his pants.
“You are a little whore, aren’t you?” he laughed. He gave me directions back to the dealership. “I’ll do you a favor and not tell them what a slut you are.”
I pulled into the parking lot but didn’t see Wilhelm or Kurt. I looked over at Joe. “Is there a bathroom?”
He grinned and nodded. “Sure, honey. So, which car do you want?”
I looked at the steering wheel. “I don’t care.”
We walked back into the showroom and Joe pointed to where the bathrooms were. I hurried into the ladies room. Not that I was a lady.
I leaned my head against the cool tile wall to get control of my emotions. After a few minutes I felt calm and walked back out to the showroom. Shame filled me as Kurt gave me a tender smile across the room. He likes me. And I’m nothing but a whore.
“Are you alright, Engel?” Kurt asked as I walked up to them. Joe glanced at me as he was going over the specifications of the car I’d just driven.
I nodded and stared at the ground. Kurt cupped my chin and brought my face up to look at me. I couldn’t look him in the eye. I heard him growl and he pulled me aside. “Anna, what happened?”
I looked up at him and shook my head. “Nothing.” I gave him a small smile. “I…drove the car. It’s a nice car. I like it.”
Kurt frowned at me. “You don’t look like you enjoyed yourself. You look pale. What happened?”
I shook my head. “Nothing.” I glanced over at Joe, who shook his head imperceptivity then back at Kurt. “Nothing, really. I’m fine. Just tired. It’s been a busy weekend.”
How can I lie to him so easily? I was afraid. Afraid of what he’d think of me if he knew what I’d done.
Why did I give that guy a blow job?
Because that’s what I do. I am a sex slave and I fuck men when they ask me. Plain and simple. Tears stung my eyes as I looked anywhere but in Kurt’s face.
“Anna, look at me,” he said gently and put his arms around my waist.
I looked up into his kind blue eyes. I’m such a whore.
He studied me for a minute. “What. Did. He. Do? And if you say nothing one more time I will be very angry.” Kurt’s eyes were dark with anger. He looked like Alex.
“I.…” I swallowed and blinked back tears.
“Did he touch you?”
I didn’t answer.
He growled and stormed over to Joe and grabbed his shirt collar. Joe’s eyes were wide as he looked at Kurt’s face contorted with rage. “What the hell did you do to her?”
He laughed. “It wasn’t me, man. She wanted it.”
Kurt’s face flushed and he drew his arm back. Before I realized what was going on, he’d punched Joe in the face, sending him flying backwards into the desk behind him. I backed away, afraid, until I backed into a large SUV.
“Kurt!” Wilhelm exclaimed.
Kurt turned to face his father with a flushed face. “You go look at her and tell me he didn’t deserve that.”
Wilhelm turned to look at me. I trembled under his gaze, knowing he was not the sort of man you wanted to anger. He walked towards me and I pressed back against the vehicle.
Several people rush to Joe to help him up.
Wilhelm was within three feet of me and I collapsed onto my knees and bowed before him, terrified at his anger. I had a feeling I shouldn’t do it in public, but I didn’t know what else to do. Besides, if he hit me, being curled up in a ball offered a little more protection.
A moment later strong arms pulled me up and held me close to a strong, warm chest. I trembled in his arms as he rocked me. “Shhh, Anna. You’re alright.” It was Wilhelm.
“I’m sorry,” I whispered.
“Anna, there’s no need to be afraid. I won’t hurt you.” He held my head to his chest and I listened to his steady heartbeat. If I hadn’t been so terrified, I would have melted into his arms. “Did he touch you, Anna?” he asked after a few minutes.
I didn’t respond. I was too afraid.
Wilhelm said something in German and I saw Kurt come over. They had a conversation in German and Kurt picked me up and carried me to a chair and sat with me in his lap.
I saw Wilhelm stride over purposefully to a man who was talking to Joe. An animated conversation followed between the three of them.
“Anna, please tell me the truth,” Kurt whispered with pleading eyes.
I looked up at him with tear filled eyes. He looked so worried. I closed my eyes and told him what happened. When I finished, I winced and opened my eyes. He was glaring at Joe.
“I’m sorry, Kurt. I…”
“Anna, why didn’t you say no?” He gave me with a pained expression.
I bit my lip and blinked back tears. “I’m not allowed to say no,” I whispered.
His eyes widened for a moment, then softened. “Oh, Anna.” He hugged me to him. He called to his father who came over. He spoke to Wilhelm in German. I guessed that Kurt was telling Wilhelm what I’d told Kurt, because Wilhelm’s face became flushed and his eyes darkened as Kurt spoke.
Wilhelm looked closely at me. I blinked under his gaze. He turned and walked back to Joe and the other man. Another animated conversation ensued. Joe’s face paled as Wilhelm spoke, making the bruise forming around his eye evident. The other man’s face reddened and he grimaced. He looked apologetically at Wilhelm and spoke sharply at Joe, who then walked away and sat on a chair nearby. They both watched Joe as they walked away, and then had a less animated conversation.
There was a lot of nodding and then a handshake. Wilhelm walked back with the other man to where Kurt and I were sitting.
“Anna, this is Walter, the manager of the store. Joe has been dismissed and I am pressing charges against him.”
“He sexually assaulted you, Anna. He will be charged with the crime.”
“Wilhelm…” I shook my head, but stopped when he looked at me.
Wilhelm knelt down and stroked my hair. “What he did to you was inexcusable. I don’t care where you’ve lived, Anna.” He answered my unspoken question. “He had no right to do such a thing.”
A lady brought me a glass of water. I thanked her and took a sip. I leaned my head against Kurt’s shoulder.
“Miss…Anna, on behalf of Mercedes-Benz of San Francisco, I sincerely apologize for what my employee did to you,” Walter said. “I am horrified at his actions. As Duke von Hesse stated, he has been dismissed from his position and the police will be here shortly.”
Walter nodded. I looked up at Wilhelm, who nodded as well. “Ok,” I said softly. I wondered what Devin would think of all this. Devin! “Does Devin know?” I asked Wilhelm.
“I’ll call him later. You are my concern right now, Anna.”
Kurt kissed my head and hugged me. “Do you want to leave?”
I looked up at him and shook my head. “Are you angry with me?”
“Why would I be angry at you?” Kurt asked.
“Because I…” I motioned in the general direction of where Joe was sitting.
“Anna, of course not. There’s no reason for me to be angry. Is that what you were worried about?”
“I was never angry at you. Neither was Vati.”
I looked up at Wilhelm, who smiled tenderly at me. He didn’t seem angry. He seemed worried.
“I’m ok. I’m not hurt.”
I sat with Kurt for a few more minutes and the police arrived. They took statements from all of us and then arrested Joe and left. I didn’t really understand what the big deal was. As long as Wilhelm and Kurt weren’t angry, what happened to Joe didn’t really bother me.
